2007 Season starts quickly!!
The 2007 Boys VB Season started quickly for the Breakers playing 3 perianially tough opponents in the first 4 days of the season.
On the 27th the Breakers travelled to Edison to take on the defending CIF Div I Champions and the results were positive. The very talented Frosh-Soph team won 2-0 despite playing with a depleted roster because of Ski Week discipline. The JV team lost a tough 2 out of 3 match in 3 games and showed lots of promise. The Varsity lost 16-14 in the 5th game after staging a great come back from 2 games down.
The next night the Breakers travelled to long time nemesis Huntington Beach and the F/S dominated the Oilers 2-0 and the JV backed them up with a 2-1 decision against a talented HB group. The Varsity once again went to the limit against the number 6 team in the OC and lost 15-13 in the 5th.
On March 1st the Breakers travelled up the 405 to take on Harvard Westlake. The Frosh Soph remained undefeated by crushing the Crusaders 25-13,25-10. The JV won 2-0 as well making nice comebacks in each game. The varsity once again lost a tough 5 game match, its 3rd in as many nights.
